Burial Assistance

The Copper Mountain Foundation’s Burial Assistance Grant Program (Grant) was developed to promote the welfare of an original enrollee of The Tatitlek Corporation, and their direct lineal descendants, through a one-time grant award to be used toward direct funeral expenses.

Up to $5,000 of funeral expenses will be provided by the Grant for original enrollees, and up to $2,500 of funeral expenses for their lineal descendants, regardless of the number of shares owned at the time of death. Funds are restricted to direct payment or reimbursement for funeral home costs, or for other direct funeral expenses such as travel for immediate family members (mother, father, brother, sister, son or daughter), flowers, or food, excluding alcohol.

In order to receive Grant funds, a member of the deceased shareholder’s immediate family, legal guardian, or conservator must submit a Burial Assistance Request Form and supporting documentation to the Shareholder Services Department within 60 days from the death of the shareholder.
